How much does it cost?

To estimate we can either work with you over the phone and email or schedule a home visit. There are a few variables to consider that effect cost such as:

  • Size of space

  • Preparation time and condition of walls
    (the amount of filler and priming/ furniture to move etc.)

  • Price of Limewash per tin (colours vary in cost. See our supplier list below and take your pick)

  • Quantity of coats (More required to achieve greater depth and a more dramatic finish)

  • Timings (Our availability, weekdays/weekends, quicker turn-around), etc.

It’s important to know that Limewashing is an art, not a decorators job. So our team are made up of artists and have years of experience, skilled in working with mixing colours and layering to achieve texture. Our textured artists have a background in interior design and can advise what colours and quantity best suits your space.

Textured was founded on the belief that spaces hold memories, and that walls should reflect the warmth and texture of family life.

We specialise in hand-crafted limewash-effect finishes and bespoke murals, building surfaces slowly, layer by layer. Inspired by the sun-worn walls of North Africa and the Middle East, our work draws from places where texture, movement, and imperfection are part of everyday life.

Limewash has long been used as a breathable, tactile alternative to polished plaster, offering depth and softness without the rigidity or cost. We work instinctively with light, shadow, and space. No two walls are the same. Variation is not a flaw, it is the point.

Every finish is applied by hand. No rollers. No stencils. No shortcuts. Murals are composed directly onto the wall, shaped by the architecture and atmosphere of the room.

Our work sits between art and interior design, for people who want modern spaces with warmth, texture, and character, without the premium price tag.
